A TIME TO RECALL featured two film screenings, an artist discussion, and a photo exhibit pop-up with artists Felix Abeson, Tahir Juba, and Darrius Fox.

About the Artists: Tahir Juba is a 24-year-old filmmaker born and raised in Baltimore, MD. Juba has always been interested in storytelling and was trained in media throughout high school via Wide Angle Youth Media, where he gained the foundation of film and media making, translating those skills into creating visual art and collaborating with Baltimore artists. Tahir Juba currently works full-time as a media producer.

Felix B. Abeson is a narrative filmmaker, documentarian, and artist from Randallstown, Maryland. He gained his foundation in film at the Maryland Institute College of Art, where he explored animation and sound. After MICA, Abeson worked as a video editor in commercial media while directing and editing personal films, music videos, and collaborative projects with other artists and filmmakers. Felix Abeson currently works as a photojournalist in Baltimore.

Darrius Fox is a 28-year-old photographer from Baltimore, MD. He is a self-taught artist, initially working as a wedding photographer before transitioning to film photography. Fox currently maintains a studio at the Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower. His photographs range from urban landscapes and portraiture to street scenes of everyday life.
